Scripture:
Deuteronomy 10:12-13
Now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require from you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways and love Him, and to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,
and to keep the LORD’S commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today for your good?
Observation:
Israel had a very long history of seeing the LORD’s blessing and provision, yet choosing to turn away from the LORD—not fearing or loving Him in what He commands.
Application:
Moses spent 62 verses explaining all the sin, all the storyline, all the providence of God…and these two verses explaining EXACTLY what God requires. We see the evidence of God everywhere. But sometimes we choose to turn away it. All He wants is for us to Love Him, fear Him, walk with Him and listen to Him.
Prayer:
Father God, help me to walk with You, serve You, love You and fear You all my days. Amen.
