but you can’t make him drink.
And you can lead a person to the Living Water, but if they don’t want to drink, it’s not up to you. It’s the Holy Spirit’s job to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgement. (I”m lecturing myself here….This is a lesson I learn over and over and over [...]

A while ago, I wrote about liberty.
It was so exciting to me to discover the “true” meaning of the word. So very exciting, because growing up and being an adult for years before knowing Jesus was a life that was a true opposite of LIBERTY. It was definitely captivity. I was so excited. So LIBERATED [...]

God moves in mysterious ways, doesn’t He?
3 years ago, today, right about this time (10:02 a.m. PST) I was riding in a bike race in Portland OR.
Top of the world, top of my game, top of my life!
God had other plans. Plans to knock me down, shake me up, [...]

I came across this quote in that book again….and wanted to share it.

Knowing Jesus, walking with Him, proclaiming His Name makes every day feel like Saturday.
But Sunday is coming! Now all we have to do is wait.

It is a simple thing to say Christ died for the sins of the world. It is a quite another thing to say that Christ died for MY sins. It is a shocking thought that we can be as indifferent as Pilate, as scheming as Caiaphas, as callous as the soldiers, as ruthless as the [...]

Redemption Through the
Shed Blood of Jesus Christ,
The Holy One.
Meditate on His sacrifice today. His bodily sacrifice. His Life sacrifice. His sacrifice of power. His sacrifice of humility. His sacrifice of Love. For you.
Then, Go serve Him.

not tomorrow, not next week, not next year, and certainly not in “purgatory” or “spirit prison” or whatever else…
TODAY, if you hear His voice, follow Him.
And if you know Him now, Go serve Him!

Not political or actual fighting-with-guns-war. Spiritual war.
I have known for quite a while now that as a believer in the Messiah, Jesus Christ, that I will be, (until I die and go to Him), engaged in WAR. All out, battle for the soul war. It’s funny how you nod your head and say “yup, war.” [...]
